Non-credit workshops
These workshops are offered to K-12 teachers who are looking for inspiration and resources for their teaching in a shortened format.

NEW FORMAT! Forestry Education for the Wisconsin K-12 Classroom
Highlights principles, activities, and techniques for teaching K-12 students about Wisconsin's forests. Receive the LEAF Wisconsin K-12 Forestry Lesson Guide and additional forestry-related education materials. Designed for K-12 classroom teachers.

Teaching Selected Forestry Topics in the K-12 Classroom
Complements Forestry Education for the Wisconsin K-12 Classroom. Explores materials and methodologies to teach K-12 students about current forestry topics, concepts, and issues. May be repeated for credit with different subtitles.

School Forest Programs and Administration
Provides an overview of the Wisconsin School Forest Program. Emphasis on planning and administration of school forests including: committees, property management, educational plans, resources, and financial support. Includes classroom and web components.

Human Influence on Wisconsin's Forests
This on-line course examines Wisconsin's forest resources and the role they play in our past, current, and future ecological, economic, and social well-being. Designed for K-12 classroom teachers who want to acquire additional background in forestry.
