Know a community that wants to
learn more about its groundwater resources?
The Center for Land Use Education in collaboration with U.S. Geological
Survey, Wisconsin Rural Water Association and others, is seeking towns,
counties and villages to include in its community groundwater planning
project. Following a consultation with community leaders, we will prepare
a PowerPoint presentation and paper summarizing:
-
Susceptibility of groundwater to contamination
-
Current groundwater quality
-
Changes in groundwater quantity
-
Recommendations for groundwater protection or restoration
For more information contact Lynn
Markham by phone at 715-346-3879.
