Marinette County is served by the Bay Lake Regional Planning Commission which received $42,000 in 2000 and $133,000 in 2001 from Wisconsin Department of Administration. Several municipalities received grants Wisconsin Department of Administration: Town of Grover received $3,000 in 2000, and $7,000 in 2001; City of Marinette received $25,650 in 2001; Village of Coleman and Town of Pound received $10,894 in 2002; Towns of Middle Inlet, Lake, and Poterfield received $42,000 in 2002; Towns of Silver Cliff, Amberg, and Athelstane received $36,000 in

This department oversees community planning and administers zoning and
subdivision regulations. It also administers and regulates state
mandated shoreland requirements, floodplain regulations, wetland
regulations and sanitary code regulations. |
