Current Projects:
 
  • Promoting and maintaining the KEEP website, including renewable energy site, career development pages, and guest speakers and fieldtrip database
  • Coordinating the Wisconsin Electrathon
  • Providing professional development and networking opportunities to Technology and Engineering Educators
  • Promoting the Wisconsin ENERGY STAR Homes and Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Programs
  • Improving and updating KEEP’s two online courses
  • Coordinating the Educator Tents at the annual Energy Fair

Highlights of Work Experience:

  • Traveled to Taiwan three times to facilitate energy education workshop with Taiwanese teachers which culminated in a professional development teacher exchange program in the Summer of 2010
  • Co-led UWSP student Winterim trip to Costa Rica to study Tropical Ecology
  • Participated in the Energy and Green Building sub-committee of the Stevens Point Eco-municipality Taskforce
  • AmeriCorps Volunteer, Vermont
  • Hawksbill Sea Turtle Monitoring Project with Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
  • Spinner Dolphin research with Pacific Whale Foundation, Maui, Hawaii
  • Intern for Project Oceanica on Dewees Island, South Carolina
  • Visitor Services Team Leader at Silver Falls State Park, Oregon
