The WCEE houses several active programs, serving environmental educators and students throughout the state of Wisconsin.

Environmental Education Resources Library
The WCEE maintains an environmental education resources library for use by elementary, middle, and secondary school teachers in Wisconsin. It is housed in the Learning Resources Center on the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point campus in central Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Environmental Science Teacher Network
The Wisconsin Environmental Science Teacher Network connects teachers to one another and to resources to enhance environmental science education in Wisconsin's 7th-12th grade classrooms.

Masters Degree for Teachers
The extended MS program for teachers is a professional development opportunity in which practicing teachers can earn a master of science degree in natural resources/environmental education. It is designed for K-12 teachers and offers on-line and weekend courses during the academic year and additional courses during a summer session. Students can transfer in up to 9 graduate credits from other programs. It is the only MS in environmental education for teachers offered in Wisconsin. An important goal of the program is to increase knowledge and leadership skills in natural resources and environmental education in its participants. Continuing teachers with at least one year of experience (from all subject areas) are welcome to apply.

High School Conference on the Environment
Each year the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education sponsors the Governor's High School Conference on the Environment for high school students and teachers. The purpose of each High School Conference is to:

• Share information on current environmental issues.
• Provide a forum where students and teachers from all areas of Wisconsin can network and share ideas.
• Empower students with tools to solve environmental dilemmas.
• Provide career and skill-building workshops

KEEP - Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program
KEEP is Wisconsin's K-12 Energy Education Program that partners with energy professionals to increase and improve energy literacy in the state through teacher education. Initiatives include:

• University-credited courses on energy education, renewable energy, and school building efficiency

• Activity guides and teaching resources including a comprehensive web site, teaching aids, field trip and guest speaker ideas, and more

• Fundraisers and contests for students

• Funding opportunities for teachers

• Networking opportunities for teachers

Learning, Experiences, & Activities in Forestry (LEAF)
As Wisconsin's K-12 Forestry Education Program, LEAF's mission is to provide Wisconsin’s educators with high quality forestry education materials for use in the classroom and field. This is done through professional development for educators, the Wisconsin K-12 Forestry Lesson Guide, distribution of materials from the existing forestry education community, and school forest services and consulting. The LEAF program is a partnership between the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources – Division of Forestry.
