October 6, 2012: "Super Science Saturday 2012" – Invited keynote speakers with Professor Donald Showalter and Gary Shulfer of the University of WisconsinStevens Point to put on a series of spectacular science demonstrations  to 3M’s Wizard Volunteers at the 3M Campus, St. Paul, Minnesota.

April 10, 2012: "The Hannah Parr" - A discussion of the epic voyage of a Norwegian emigrant frigate will be given with Louise Lang to the noon luncheon of the Senior Fellowship monthly meeting  at Woodlands Church, Plover, Wisconsin. 

February 12, 2012: "The Hannah Parr" - A discussion of the epic voyage of a Norwegian emigrant frigate will be given with Louise Lang to Sons of Norway's Vennligfolk Lodge (#5-627)  at the Plover Public Library, Plover, Wisconsin.

December 9-11, 2011: Shall participate as Santa Claus in Professor Bassam Shakhashiri’s 42nd Public Television production of “Once a Christmas Cheery in the Lab of Shakhashiri.”   Video filming will take place on the University of WisconsinMadison campus for airing nationwide in December on Public Television.  CANCELLED ... Public Television will air "The Best of Shakhashiri" later in December.

November 18, 2011: "Boiling Cold - Freezing Hot" was the title of an all school assembly presentation given at Marquette University High School, Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Professor Donald Showalter.

November 16, 2011: "The Hannah Parr" - A discussion of the epic voyage of a Norwegian emigrant frigate was the title of a  Wednesday presentation, with Louise Lang, given to LIFE: Learning is ForEver  - an outreach program of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.

November 12, 2011: "Knute Rockne: Norwegian All American” was presented with Dr. Donald Johnson to the Sons of Norway's Myrmarken Lodge (#5-609) of Marshfield, Wisconsin.

October 12, 2011: "Boiling Cold - Freezing Hot" was the title of a  Wednesday presentation given to LIFE: Learning is ForEver at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with Professor Donald Showalter. This outreach program consisted of a series of chemical demonstrations in the UWSP Science Building, D-101.

September 29, 2011: "Norwegians in Science" was the title of a Thursday evening presentation given to the Illinois-Iowa Section of the  American Chemical Society.  The presentation discussed the contributions of selected Norwegians to the scientific enterprise and was punctuated with chemical demonstrations.  The site was Augustana College's Department of Chemistry, Rock Island, Illinois.

September 22-25, 2011:  "The Hannah Parr" - was presented at four day workshop to be held at Concordia Language Villages near Bemidji, Minnesota.

September 10, 2011: "Seeing the Unseen" - a series of chemical demonstrations was given to Christian Homeschoolers Aligning Together (CHAT) fall kickoff event held at Highland Church of Plover, Wisconsin.

August 29-31, 2011: "Chemical Philately: A Potpourri of Science Stamps" - an exhibit, co-authored with Steven M. Lang of Cedarville University in conjunction with the 243rd National American Chemical Society, Denver, Colorado.  An oral paper was also presented entitled "The Quantum Story on Postage Stamps."

August 19, 2011: ""The Hannah Parr" - A discussion of the epic voyage of a Norwegian emigrant frigate was the title of a  Friday evening presentation with Louise Lang, given at a joint meeting of Sons of Norway Lodges - Trygvasson Lodge (#5-220) of Osseo, Wisconsin, Løven Lodge (#5-029) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Viking Lodge (#5-625) of Mondovi, Wisconsin.  The meeting site was the Strum Civic Center located in Strum, Wisconsin.

August 4-5, 2011: “Norwegian in Science" is title of two seminars presented at “Tre Lag Stevne  held in the Ramkota Inn and Suites in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  This annual meeting featured programs, seminars and research on regions in Norway sponsored by “lags” referred to as Nord-Hedmark og Hedemarken, Gudbrandsdal, and Trønderlag of America.  (see http://www.tronderlag.org/stevne2011.htm )

March 15, 2011: "Boiling Cold - Freezing Hot" was the title of an assembly presentation given to the Washington Elementary School, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin with Professor Donald Showalter.

March 12, 2011: "Boiling Cold - Freezing Hot" is the title of a  Saturday presentation to be given to the 7th Annual Science Extravaganza at Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) with Professor Donald Showalter. A series of chemical demonstrations will be given in conjunction with this day long event.

January 26, 2011: "Discrepant Events?" was the title of a presentation given to the Spenser (Wisconsin) High School National Honor Society Banquet at the Belvedere Supper Club, Marshfield, Wisc.

November 18, 2010: "Boiling Cold - Freezing Hot" was the title of a  Thursday evening presentation given to the Western Maryland Section of the  American Chemical Society.  A series of chemical demonstrations was given at Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) located Cumberland, Maryland.

November 8, 2010: "George Sinclair, The Scottish Invasion of Norway, and the Bible" was the title of a presentation given to Norskeland Lodge #5-580, Sons of Norway at Silver Lake Lanes, Scandinavia Wisconsin.  [Check out the home page of Sons of Norway]

September 12, 2009: "Norwegian Genealogy: Tips & Opportunities" - A discussion of the techniques, methods, resources and opportunities awaiting those interested in exploring family history in this part of the world.  Presentation was given to the Waupaca Area Genealogical Society, Waupaca, Wisconsin. The Eastern North Carolina Section - Greenville, NC (11/17), Virginia Blue Ridge Section - Lynchburg, VA (11/18), Central North Carolina Section Winston-Salem (11/19), Hampton Roads Section - Virginia Beach, VA (11/20, and Virginia Section - Fredericksburg (11/21) scheduled visits.  Topics included “The Elements of Leadership: Chemical Demonstrations With a Theme,” and  "Chemical Philately: A Perforated History of Chemistry."

Freezing Hot" was the title of a  Friday evening presentation given to the Colorado Section of the  American Chemical Society.  A series of chemical demonstrations and a teacher workshop was also presented at Metropolitan State College of Denver on Saturday.  All events were hosted by the Colorado Section, ACS and conducted with Professor Don Showalter, University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. April 11-12, 2008: “The Elements and Chemistry of Leadership” – A series of chemical demonstrations was presented with Professor Donald Showalter of the University of WisconsinStevens Point to the Iowa Academy of Science’s Annual Meeting to be held at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

January 20-24, 2008:  A series of chemical demonstration programs and general public programs were presented at the Kamehameha Schools in Hilo, Hawai`i.  With Professor Donald L. Showalter of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.  The  programs were presented at the high school, middle school, and elementary schools on The Big Island and, in conjunction with chemistry teacher Joel Truesdell of Kamehameha-Hawai`i, an additional presentation was given in a public forum.
