Welcome to the Central Wisconsin Economic Research Bureau's NEW webpage!

The CWERB provides quarterly Economic Indicator Reports and Special Topic Reports to the Central Wisconsin community. These reports present a basic understanding of the state of the economy at the National, Central Wisconsin, and Local level. Moreover, the CWERB is looking to develop and increase the importance of economic understanding in the community, so please use this site as a local resource to economic information. Current reports as well as reports dating back to 1984 can be viewed using the above menus.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Central Wisconsin Economic Research Bureau is to bring timely economic analysis and information to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) service area consisting primarily of Portage, Marathon, and Wood counties, in order to help foster economic development in this region.
