Here's a little insight as to some research projects conducted by UWSP Biology and CNR students. These projects are executed independently of regular course study but can earn a student academic credit if they so choose to sign up for it. Below is a small variety of some of the research done and presented in poster form at the College of Natural Resources Undergraduate Research Symposium and the College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Research Symposium. At these symposia, students answer questions about and discuss their research with those interested in learning about their work. It's a worth-while and fun way to obtain professional presentation experience in a casual atmosphere. Also, posters are judged for design and readability and a winner is chosen who then receives notoriety. |
