Captures WIAC Weekly Track Honors
UW-Stevens Point senior Teresa Stanley has been named the Wisconsin
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's track Athletes of the Week
following her performance last week.
Stanley, a Whitewater native, won the 3000-meter steeplechase at
Saturday�s North Central First Chance Meet, finishing with an NCAA
Division III provisional qualifying time of 11:12.00. Stanley won the
event by nine seconds over the second place competitor.
The Pointers placed fourth
overall in the team standings at the meet. |
