Anderson and
Hake Named WIAC Swimmers of the Week
UW-Stevens Point landed the first Wisconsin
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference swimmers of the week as Alex
Anderson received the men�s award and Caitlin Hake garnered the women�s
selection.
Anderson, a senior from La Crosse Central High
School, received the honor for the ninth time in his career. He won six
different events over the weekend in dual meet wins over UW-Eau Claire
and St. Cloud State. Anderson won both of his individual events and swam
on a winning relay in each victory.
Hake, a freshman from Red Wing, Minn., won
both of her events and a relay against UW-Eau Claire. She swam on
another winning relay in Saturday�s dual with St. Cloud State and
Northern Michigan, while posting two close runner-up finishes in
individual events.
The Pointers compete Saturday at St. Cloud
State in a triangular with Northern Michigan.
