Hake Selected
as WIAC Women�s Swimmer of the Week
For the second time this season, UW-Stevens
Point freshman Caitlin Hake has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference women�s swimmer of the week.
Hake, a Red Wing, Minn. native, set two school records last weekend as
the Pointers finished second at the Wheaton Invitational. Hake set a
school record in the prelims of the 100-yard freestyle with a time of
52.68 seconds. She also was on the record-setting 200-yard freestyle
relay that posted a time of 1:36.43. Both times were �B� cut national
qualifying times.
In addition to her record times, Hake was also
second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.10 seconds.
