Rebekah Bauer extended her own school
record with her 25th extra-base hit of the season as the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point women's softball team swept Milwaukee School of
Engineering 4-0, 5-1 on Wednesday at Zenoff Park.
Bauer was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs in the second game for the
Pointers (20-19), who have won 20 games for 11 straight seasons, and was
2-for-3 in the first game. Jessica
Cook and Liz Boettcher had two RBIs apiece on the day, while Kelly Schmdit
and Amanda Maule struck out 5 and 11 batters to earn victories. |
