Pointers Roll Past UW-Superior
For 5-0 Win
Kaylee Weise had two goals and one assist to
lead the UW-Stevens Point women�s soccer team in a 5-0 win on Saturday at
UW-Superior.
Weise joined Anna Van Stippen and Amanda Prawat
with first half goals as the Pointers built a 3-0 halftime advantage. She
also scored along with Jennisa Koch in the second half as the Pointers
improved to 7-2-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference.
The Pointers� defense posted its fourth shutout
of the year with Meredith DeCaluwe playing the first half and stopping the
Yellowjackets� only two shots on goal. UW-Stevens Point held a 23-3
advantage in shots for the match.
Prawat added two assists and Katie Waterman also
had an assist for the Pointers. |
