WHITEWATER - Liz Kidd
scored her first career game-winning goal with an unassisted shot in
double-overtime on Tuesday.
The goal gave the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point women's soccer team
a 2-1 victory over UW-Whitewater.
The game marked a record third overtime win of the season for the
Pointers.
UWSP's Melissa Becker kicked off the scoring with an unassisted goal at
7:00. UW-Whitewater's Gina McRoberts tied the game with an unassisted goal
at 63:18.
The Pointers (9-4-1, 5-1
WIAC) outshot UW-Whitewater 12-10 and goalkeeper Kortney Krill made five
saves.
