Pointers Drop
Another Heartbreaker to Pioneers
Box Score
For the second time this season, UW-Platteville
pulled out a late-second mens basketball victory over UW-Stevens Point as
the Pioneers made two free throws with 15.6 seconds left to escape with a

Earlier this season, the Pioneers rallied from a
one-point deficit in the final seconds by hitting a three-pointer with 13

the league standings. It also sets up a possibility of a rematch with the
Pioneers in the opening round of next weeks conference tournament.

and forth with neither team holding larger than a three-point lead in the
final eight minutes. UW-Stevens Point took its first lead since midway

Lohoff hit consecutive three-pointers to tie the game for UW-Platteville.
