The Pointers, ranked No. 1 nationally by D3hoops.com, are now 16-2 overall and will play at co-leader and 20th-ranked UW-Stout on Saturday.

The first half was back and forth as neither team held bigger than a three-point lead and UW-Platteville owned a 30-29 halftime lead on two free throws by Reitzner with one second left, despite shooting 72.2 percent before halftime.

The Pioneers pulled away early in the second half as the teams traded baskets in the first minute before UW-Platteville scored 11 straight points to take a 43-31 lead.
