Fish Named NCHA and
WIAC Player of the Week
UW-Stevens Point freshman forward Sean Fish has been
named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association and Wisconsin Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference mens hockey Player of the Week after leading the Pointers
penalty killing unit in a pair of victories last weekend.
Fish, a Ramsey, Minn. native who attended Anoka High School, was a member of a
penalty kill that held opponents scoreless in 16 power play chances while
UW-Stevens Point converted four shorthanded goals. He scored two shorthanded
goals and assisted a power play goal in Fridays 4-3 overtime win over
UW-Superior. Fish also assisted a go-ahead shorthanded goal by Russel Law with
7:50 left in Saturdays 3-2 win over St. Scholastica.
