Kautz Sinks
Second Hole-in-One in School History
Sophomore Katie Kautz became the second player
in UW-Stevens Point women�s golf history to achieve a hole-in-one when
she aced the par three, 163-yard, 17th hole at Wild Ridge Golf Course
during Sunday�s UW-Eau Claire Invitational.
The only previous ace in Pointers� history was
fired by Lea Haas at the 1998 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference championships in Oshkosh.
Kautz, a DesPlaines, Ill. native, shot a 92 on
Sunday to help the Pointers place seventh in the 17-team meet. |
