Seventh at UW-Eau Claire Invite
Courtney Timblin shot an
84 on Sunday to finish with a two-day total of 166 and lead the
UW-Stevens Point women's golf team to a seventh place finish among 17
teams at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational.
Timblin finished 16th
overall, while Susie Lewis was 20th overall with a 168 total after
shooting a 79 on Saturday and an 89 on Sunday.
Sarah Mosher was 36th
overall with a 174, while Katie Kautz fired a 189 and Tina Young carded
a 205 for the Pointers.
UW-Stevens Point posted a
two day overall total of 697. St. Thomas won the meet with a 648. All
seven Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams participated
with the Pointers posting the third-highest score among league rivals.
