Kathryn Carlson fired an 82 Sunday to finish 11^th overall and lead the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point women's golf team to a fifth place team finish at the 11-team UW-Whitewater Invitational at Riverside Golf Course in Janesville.

Carlson shot an 88 on Saturday to finish with a two-day total of 170. Rachel Sime shot an 84 Sunday to finish with a 172 and take 13^th place for the Pointers, while Andrea Miller had a 175 to place 16^th overall out of 80 golfers.

Other Pointer golfers included Kelly Rogers, who was 37^th with a 182, Lea Haas, who was 39^th with a 184 and Jenny Roder, who placed 51^st with a 193.

UW-Stevens Point posted a two-day team total of 698. Millikin (Ill.) won the meet with a 669.
