Earns All-WIAC Honors to Lead Pointers at WIAC Meet
Kathryn Carlson finished seventh overall to earn All-Conference
honors for the second straight year and lead the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point women's golf team at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference championships Sunday in Janesville.
Carlson shot an 87 at the par 72 Riverside Golf Course to finish
with a two-day total of 175. She finished fifth with a 176 at last year's
championships.
Overall, the Pointers finished fourth at the meet with a 727.
UW-Oshkosh won its first-ever WIAC title with a 684, UW-Eau Claire was
second at 689 and UW-Whitewater was third at 707.
Other top UW-Stevens Point finishers included Andrea Miller, who
was 11th overall with a 180 and Rachel Sime, who was 16th
with a 184.
