Golf Places 12th at Illinois Wesleyan Invite
Rachel Sime and Andrea Miller tied for 18th place
overall among 130 golfers as the UW-Stevens Point women's golf team placed
12th in the 20-team Illinois Wesleyan Invitational Saturday and
Sunday in Bloomington, Ill.
Miller shot a 78 the first day and an 85 on Sunday to finish with a
two-day total of 163. Sime shot an 81 Saturday and an 82 Sunday at the par
72 Ironwood Country Club. Kathryn Carlson added a 171 and Abby Hall had a
176 for the Pointers.
The Pointers finished with 685 as a team. Rhodes (Tenn.) won the
meet with a 634.
