Dear Pointer Fan,
The Pointer Way
– What a powerful mantra, those three words are what we live by; doing
“things” the right way both in the classroom and on the court.
Last season we were recognized by the Women’s Basketball Coaches
Association for our team grade point average, we ranked 18th
in the nation with a 3.459 GPA.
We welcome challenges that come with being a team that has
reached the Sweet 16 twice and the Elite 8 once during the last three
seasons and a team that has won four consecutive WIAC Tournament Titles
- 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
This season, we intend to build upon our 260 wins and 59 losses since
the 2001 season. We have set our goals for the 2011-12 season and we are
ready to enjoy the journey
The Pointer Way as we
strive to reach them.
So how can you help us?
Join the
FastBreak Club and enjoy all the benefits that are associated
with being a member.
Receive a monthly newsletter, attend a practice and meet the players,
attend Coach’s Chalk Talks prior to games, be an honorary coach for a
game or attend our end of the season picnic.
Regardless of the amount, we need your financial support to
assist us in giving our dedicated student athletes the collegiate
experience they deserve.
You can also help us by Blitzing
the Berg for all home games starting on Wednesday, November 16 when
we welcome St. Thomas to Berg Gym.
It is very important to have that sixth man encouraging us when
we need a jolt of positive energy.
