Country Enters WIAC Meet Ranked 18th Nationally
UW-Stevens Point�s men�s cross country team
enters this weekend�s Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
championships as the 18th-ranked team in the NCAA Division III by the
U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Pointers have now been ranked five
consecutive weeks and are among four WIAC teams in the rankings entering
Saturday�s meet in La Crosse. UW-La Crosse is ranked second, UW-Oshkosh
is sixth and UW-Platteville is ninth.
Saturday�s meet starts with the men�s race at
11 a.m. The women�s competition begins at noon.
