Men's Squad Places Second of 39 at Augustana
UW-Stevens Point had three of the top 11 finishers to place second
among 39 teams at Friday�s Augustana College men�s cross country
invitational in Rock Island, Ill.
Mike Ormond led the Pointers with a third
place finish in 25:25 over the 8,000-meter course. Brad Seeley was sixth
overall in 25:47 and Travis Nechuta was 11th in 25:56.
The Pointers totaled 82 team points to finish
behind Augustana, which totaled 68 points. The University of Chicago,
ranked 18th in the country, placed third with 118 points.
Phil Richert added a 26th place finish in
26:20 and Dominick Meyer was 38th overall in 26:43. |
