To encourage, broker and coordinate education-focused conferences, camps and meetings and to provide services for all clients while promoting maximum use of and generating revenue from appropriate UWSP resources.

  • The basic needs that this organization fills are:
    • Non-curricular scheduling of UWSP GPR facilities.
    • Matches space requests with available facilities.
    • Provides guidelines and policies for user compliance.
    • Determines fee assessments based on user categories.
    • Assists UWSP departments in facilitating summer youth programs to recruit future college students and generate supplemental revenues for department programs.
  • Conference & Reservations meet the needs of those it serves:
    • Our office seeks to create programs and serve its constituency in a way which results in our organization being valued by those we serve.
  • C & R geographically serves:
    • The area served encompasses to the UWSP campus facilities and the community.
  • The Conference & Reservations Office is unique in that it:
    • Holds the Camp/Rec Ed license for all summer youth camps.
    • Hosts the EMS software for the campus support area reservation system.
    • Has authority to assign non-Centers space to requestors per Chapter 9 of the UWSP Handbook.
    • Coordinates campus summer conference/camp lodging, food service, and Centers facility requests.
