Who should I call if I have a question on my bill?
Please contact the office listed under "source" on your billing
statement. If the source is the Student Billing Office, or if you are
questioning a payment on your account, please contact the UWSP Billing
Office at 346-4796, or remit your question via email.
I haven't received my billing statement. What should I do?
Check your UWSP email, or view your most recent billing statement on "myPoint."
All currently enrolled students will receive their bills electronically.
Notification is sent to the student via email each month that a new
statement is generated. No paper statement will be mailed to a student
while you are a currently enrolled.
Do I have to pay the whole bill in one payment?
You may pay by installments during fall and spring semesters unless your
financial aid pays your account in full. You will be assessed a finance
charge on any unpaid balance. There is no payment plan offered during
the summer.
How do I clear a financial hold on my transcripts?
There are a number of reasons why holds are placed on transcripts. If
the hold is due to a past due balance on your student account, you must
bring your account current, before the hold can be released.
May I pay with a credit card?
Yes, UWSP accepts American Express, Discover, & MasterCard, as well as,
E-checks online at
http://www.uwsp.edu/admin/busaffairs/bursar/billpay.htm. Sorry,
UWSP does not accept VISA at this time. There is a 2.5% convenience fee
for credit card use. There is no fee for payment via E-check. The
Bursar's office does not accept credit cards at the window, or by
telephone.
I am being billed as a non-resident of Wisconsin, but I think
I should have reciprocity. What should I do?
You may verify your residency in the Admissions Office located in the
Student Service Center.
How do I receive a refund?
Refer to "Obtaining Your Refund".
