Configuring Skype for Use at UWSP

The following steps will allow you to configure Skpye for optimal performance on the UWSP campus.

  1. Open Skype and select Skype > Preferences.

  2. Select Advanced and change the port that is used for incoming connections to 39951.

  3. Restart the Skype client. Skype should now be configured for optimum network performance. If you have questions, please contact the ResNet Office.
