ResNet Quarantine

The UWSP ResNet Quarantine Network is a secure network every customer computer enters before being allowed onto the Internet. This network helps ResNet reduce the chances of a compromised computer infecting other computers on our network.

What's Available In Quarantine

  • Allowed In Quarantine

      Even if your computer is in quarantine, you will be allowed to go to the following sites.

    • UWSP Home Page
    • ResNet Web Site
    • myPoint
    • myFiles Network Storage
    • Outlook Web Access

  • Not Allowed In Quarantine

      You will not be able to do the following while your computer is in quarantine.

    • View Off-campus Web Pages and Instant Messaging
    • Desire2Learn
    • Kronos Time Tracking System
