Optional assignment: The purpose of this activity is to help you monitor the various categories of end uses in your home or school, which can aid in the identification of ways to reduce electricity consumption.

Steps

1. Print out hard copy of General End Use Survey and monitor activities for a day (MS word version or PDF version). Try to record at least one activity per hour.

3. Under "Source of Energy" identify what energy resource was used (for example: electricity, battery, gas, etc.).
