Welcome to NRES 733 Energy Education: Concepts and Practices, a one-credit graduate level web-based course (Internet delivery) offered through the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and developed by the Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP). The website component of this course is always open to the general public; the course content is geared primarily for K-12 educators. At certain times of the year, there is university graduate credit available for this course, see Schedule Information or contact the KEEP office. See Registration Information to find out how to register. Enrolled students also participate in an interactive online discussion and complete assignments. On-campus students need instructor permission to enroll in this course.
The
course addresses energy concepts relating to energy definitions, natural
laws of energy and energy flows in living and non-living systems, and
their relationships to understanding and evaluating environmental
