Land Division/Subdivision Resource Links

Is your community concerned about parcelization? Land division ordinances are a good tool to manage the nature and character of future land divisions in your community. The on-line resources below will help you consider your options:

  •  http://gissrv2.uwsp.edu/cnr/clue/parcelization/                                                                                     In an effort to better understand the factors influencing land subdivision, CLUE researchers reconstructed historic tax parcel layers for six rural towns in Wisconsin. The digital parcel layers were mapped using historic tax assessment rolls, plat books, and other paper media at nearly 10-year increments back to 1950.
