The village of Germantown in Washington County received $30,000 in
grant money in 2001 from the Wisconsin Department of Administration. See

County Planning & Zoning Department
This department oversees community planning and administers zoning and
subdivision regulations. It also administers and regulates state
mandated shoreland requirements, floodplain regulations, wetland
regulations and sanitary code regulations. |

Kettle Moraine Northern Unit State Forest.
Wisconsin has nine State Forests (Wow!): Brule River, Northern
Highland-American Legion, Peshtigo River, Governor Knowles, Black River,
Flambeau River, Coulee Experimental, Point Beach and Kettle Moraine
(North & South units).
