The proper management of our natural resources is vital to our rapidly changing society. The sound stewardship of the wildlife resource requires a working knowledge and understanding of wildlife requirements, values, and their role in our society. The wildlife program is for those who wish to become wildlife professionals, and provides an excellent opportunity to obtain a degree with a broad ecological base for those interested in fields other than wildlife management. Future teachers, lawyers, general business persons, and other citizens can obtain a background that will enable them to be effective in minimizing environmental problems.
