Unbeaten Eagles Sweep UW-Stevens Point
The UW-Stevens Point women�s tennis team fell 9-0 at home on
Saturday to undefeated UW-La Crosse.
Emily Bouche battled Erica Schmelzer 7-5, 6-1 at No. 3 singles for
UW-Stevens Point's closest match of the dual. All of the Eagles� singles
wins were in straight sets. All three doubles matches were taken by the
Eagles as well.
The Pointers, who are now 4-4 overall and 0-3 in the Wisconsin
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, will travel to UW-Oshkosh to take on
the Titans Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
