Henn,
Adams and Strebig Lead Tennis at UW-La Crosse Invite
Laura Henn placed fourth at No.
5 singles and Violet Adams and Aimee Strebig teamed to finish fourth at
No. 1 doubles to pace the UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team at the
UW-La Crosse Invitational over the weekend.
Henn
also teamed with Rachel Ferge to take consolation honors at No. 3 doubles,
posting a 6-2, 6-0 win over teammates Katie Pollock and Lindsay Peret in
the consolation final. Jen Derse won consolation at No. 6 singles, while
Heather Janssen and Anne Hildebrandt were slated to meet in the
consolation final at No. 3 singles, but did not play.
No
team scores were kept in the meet, which included teams from UW-La Crosse,
Winona State and Luther (Iowa).
