| Nathan
Eddingsaas |
 |
Eddingsaas will be an assistant coach this year specializing in
training the breaststrokers and IMers. As a swimmer Eddingsaas was
an All-American and was top three at the conference meet six times.
He will graduate this spring with majors in chemistry and aquatic
toxicology and a minor in mathematics. Next year he plans to start
grad school where he will work toward a Ph.D. in chemistry. |

Hansen |
 |
Hansen is starting his second year as strength coach for the
Pointers. Since being cut from the Point swim team his freshmen year
as a Pointer he has achieved two Most Improved Awards and has
qualified three years for the NCAA National Meet. He looks forward
to serving the Pointers as assistant coach this year. |

Hanson |
 |
Hanson begins his first season as assistant coach for the
Pointers. The Menomonee Falls, WI native recently completed his
career at UW-Stevens Point as a four year letter winner, four year
conference swimmer, and winner of the Jerry Baird Memorial
Scholarship. More recently he is completing his degree in Computer
Information Systems and planning on graduating in Spring. |
| Anthony
Harris |

A seven-time All American, Harris begins his first year as
Assistant Sprint Coach with the Pointers. As a Pointer, he qualified
four straight years for the nationals. Harris is a Mass
Communications major and plans on a radio or television career upon
graduation. |
| Lindsay
Kalow |

Kalow begins her first season with the coaching staff after
earning four letters and captaining the Pointers to a WIAC title in
2000-2001. The Stillwater, MN native will be graduating in the
spring of 2003 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Coaching.
Next fall she will be attending EMT schooling in Minnesota in hopes
of becoming a paramedic. |
| Jason
Mahowald |
 |
Mahowald begins his first year as an assistant coach for the
Pointers. Jason is a four-time conference finalist in the backstroke
events for the Pointers, will work mainly with the mid-distance
freestyle and backstrokers this season. While at UWSP Jason received
degrees in Business Administration and Coaching he also served as
the Universities President of the Student Athlete Advisory
Committee. After the season Jason plans on pursuing a Masters degree
in Coaching Education/Sports Administration. |
| Christine
Sammons |
 |
Sammons, a Hastings, MN native, begins her first season as the
breaststroke/IM coach. While swimming at Stevens Point, she was a
17-time WIAC champion, six-time All-American, three-time MVP, WIAC
Scholar Athlete, and UWSP Athlete of the Year in an individual
sport. Sammons is pursuing a triple major in Managerial Accounting,
Business Administration, and German. She is graduating this spring
and resides in Stevens Point. |

Steinmetz |
 |
A five-time All-American diver at UW-La Crosse, Steinmetz is in
her second season with the Pointers after stints at Wisconsin Rapids
and La Crosse Central High Schools. A Wisconsin Rapids native,
Steinmetz dove for UW-La Crosse from 1983-1987 and is currently a
Physician Education and Health Education instructor at Stevens Point
Area Senior High. |
| Mary
Thone |
 |
Thone, a Minneapolis, MN native begins her first season as a
co-coach for the Pointers. She and Kalow will be working with the
distance team. During her swimming career at UWSP, Thone was a 15
time WIAC conference champion, she holdstwo conference records,
three pool records, and four school records and was a three time
member of the national team becoming an All-American. Thone is a
Mathematics major with an Accounting minor and resides in Stevens
Point. |
