DeCaluwe Earns
First-Team Academic All-District Soccer Award
UW-Stevens Point women�s soccer player
Meredith DeCaluwe was selected as a first-team all-district goalkeeper
on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American teams selected by the
College Sports Information Directors of America.
DeCaluwe, a Naperville, Ill. native, was a second-team all-district
selection last season. She owns a 3.99 grade point average in
mathematics and secondary education. She started every match for the
Pointers this season, posting a 1.02 goals against average and four solo
shutouts. She was also part of nine total shutouts and a defense that
surrendered just 16 goals in 18 matches.
DeCaluwe is now eligible for Academic
All-American honors, which will be announced later this fall. |
