Soccer Falls to
No. 22 in Latest National Rankings
With a 3-2 overtime loss to Macalester on
Sunday, the UW-Stevens Point women�s soccer team fell to 22nd in the NCAA
Division III rankings by the National Soccer Coaches Association of
America.
The Pointers were ranked 10th last week and
opened the week with a 0-0 tie at Wheaton and a 10-0 win over
UW-Platteville. Wheaton is ranked second in this week�s poll behind
defending national champion Ohio Wesleyan. Macalester snapped the
Pointers� 26-game regular season unbeaten streak and is ranked 16th this
week. |
