Pointers
Blank Eagles for Sixth Straight Win
The
UW-Stevens Point womens soccer team ran its winning streak to six
straight matches and remained undefeated with a 2-0 win at UW-La Crosse on
Saturday in La Crosse.
Molly
Cady scored a first half goal and Kelly Fink scored in the second half for
the Pointers, who are now 8-0-1 overall and ranked third in the NCAA

Cady
scored at 22:43 of the first half when Andrea Spiel dribbled to the

delivered a high pass to the far post directly to the seniors right
foot for her fourth goal of the season.
In the second half, Jenny Bruce gained a long pass on a two-on-two
breakaway and drew both defenders before delivering a perfect pass to Fink
for the score at the 59:46 mark.

had three saves and Melissa Meister had two saves for the Pointers
sixth shutout of the season.
