COURSES AND PRACTICE FACILITIES
The Pointers are truly blessed to
have two of the best courses in the state on which to play and practice.
The Stevens Point Country Club is
our home course and is consistently ranked among the top ten private courses in
the state each year. In 2000, the course was fortunate enough to be chosen as
the Wisconsin State Open site.
SentryWorld was listed as one of
the top ten new public courses in the country when it opened in 1986 and since
has been ranked among the top fifty public courses each year. The team usually
holds its range practice here because of the outstanding facilites and
occasionally plays here to test our abilities on this most challenging course.
No
other state or private school in Wisconsin can boast this type of diversity and
quality in playing and practice facilities.
Off
the course, the Pointers also have exceptional training facilities on campus
with one of the state's largest strength and cardio centers and a
state-of-the-art athletic training facility. |
